Mobility Account Manager

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Mobility Operations Manager, the Sales Support Manager, will be a primary resource for the ordering of wireless devices, ongoing project management of wireless services, recommendations and review of those to the to customers, as well as assisting in process improvements, systems enhancements, technical support of web tools, and implementation of new services. This position will report to the Mobility Operations Manager and work collaboratively with Carrier partners, staff and sales team. A continuation of duties is as follows:

  • Review orders/procure service, equipment, and accessories.
  • Review and approve orders for new services, including upgrades, internal cost center changes, and deactivations.
  • Reviews submitted orders for policy compliance and submit them to the Carrier.
  • Coordinate parts/replacements and upgrades (accessories, SIM card, between employees and Carrier at no additional shipping cost).
  • Coordinate account deactivations and service cancellations with Carriers.
  • Activate wireless cellular and wireless data services in coordination with internal Customer departments, and Cellular Carrier.
  • Conduct Fix/repair support services using Service Levels
  • Be contact point to address employees’ questions about mobility services
  • Provide basic to advanced wireless technical support.
  • Provide end user training and education materials to better understand cellular and wireless data tools and capabilities.
  • Support Vice President/Executives with the highest level of service.
  • Coordinate organization-wide account consolidations and cellular number porting for Company mergers and acquisitions.
  • Conduct asset management activities and tracking.
  • Resolve billing issues with suppliers.
  • Conduct billing reviews to look for cost savings and optimization

Requirements:

  • 1+ yrs experience in Mobility Support (corporate environment a plus)
  • Familiarity w/ vendor ordering systems (ex: AT&T Premier)
  • Familiarity w/ mobility hardware (cell phones, BlackBerry, etc)
  • Keen interest in wireless technology
  • Strong communication (written & oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well organized and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly developed customer satisfaction focus
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong Excel and Access skills

Necessary Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Detailed and process oriented
  • Able to: Multitask, work under pressure, and work with different personalities Ability to prioritize work assignments and focus on most critical task.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
  • Excellent verbal and oral communications skills; comfortable doing presentations in front of customers.
  • Proven knowledge of desktop software including MS Excel and Word
  • Maintain confidentiality of information

Sales Support Manager

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Sales Support Manager, will be a primary resource for pricing of telecom solutions for customer application needs, pre-sales support, and assist in the provisioning process and in the post-cutover follow-up. This position will report to the Director of Operations and work collaboratively with Carrier partners, staff and sales team. A continuation of duties is as follows:

  • Interacting with business professionals
  • Analyzing complex client orders
  • Providing multiple carrier solution pricing; pre-sales support in the telecom industry
  • Researching and generating proposals
  • RFP Management thru our DirectRFP software
  • Supporting closing the sale, i.e., Post Sales Support-Project Management
  • Primary provisioning resource
  • Account planning, providing support to his/her assigned accounts and across the customer base as needed.
  • Establish and maintain customer intimacy through regular contact; develop thorough understanding of customer‘s business and the use of the telecom services.
  • Act as a customer’s evangelist and follow up on all customer request in a timely fashion
  • Maintain customer records in CRM.
  • Manage renewal activities
  • Identify upsell opportunities and close/ refer to a Sales Account Manager.

Requirements:

  • Previous or current AT&T/SBC, Verizon and or other major LEC experience.
  • You have greater than 5 years of Communications’ sales support experience, and you are responsive, accessible and customer oriented
  • Have knowledge in the communications industry, voice, data; IP-Private, IP-MPLS, local and long distance, data Collocation Centers and wireless products.
